Terms for clinics

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms apply to clinics that use Syncure, and to the staff who sign in on a clinic's behalf. By applying for or using Syncure, the clinic agrees to them.

What Syncure does

Syncure is an appointment desk: patients book, confirm, move and cancel on the clinic's WhatsApp number, and the clinic's staff run each doctor's day from the web. Syncure does not give medical advice and is not an emergency service; the chat tells nobody what to do about their health. In an emergency, patients should call the clinic or 112.

Accounts

  • The clinic's owner decides who gets a login and can switch logins off.
  • Each person keeps their own sign-in details private; logins are not shared.
  • We may pause a clinic's access if Syncure is misused, for example to message people who did not agree to it, and we will tell the owner why.

Patients, consent and WhatsApp

  • The clinic is responsible for its patients' data and for having their agreement to be messaged. Syncure's chat asks for it; when the desk records it, the patient must really have agreed.
  • The clinic follows WhatsApp's business and commerce policies on its number.
  • Meta may charge for some messages; the clinic's plan says who pays them.

Trial and plan

A clinic's free trial starts when we approve it. After the trial, the plan agreed with Syncure applies. Syncure does not take payments inside the app.

The clinic's data

The clinic's data stays the clinic's. We use it only to run Syncure for the clinic, as the privacy notice explains. On request we give the clinic an export of its appointments and patients, and when a clinic leaves we delete its patients' data within 30 days of its request, apart from logs the law requires us to keep.

Availability

We work to keep Syncure running and to tell clinics about planned maintenance in advance. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted, and WhatsApp and Telegram are run by other companies. The desk can always take bookings by phone when messaging is down.

Limits

As far as the law allows, Syncure is not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what the clinic paid us in the three months before it. Nothing here limits what the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes and law

We tell clinics before these terms change. They are governed by the laws of India. Questions: privacy@syncure.app.
